How the case is made
Wood is cut to the phone's outline and the void is cast with resin in a single pour, so the join between the two is a physical edge rather than a printed line. The pour is what makes each piece different: the sky in one case will not match the sky in the next.
After curing, the shell is sanded back and finished with an oil rather than a lacquer, which leaves the grain open to the touch. The TPU edge is fitted last and carries the button and port cut-outs. Dřevákov quotes three days of production before dispatch and around two further working days in transit.
